memories

the ember holds
as long as it can
bright warm memories
of fire's dance

embers hold
as long as they can
bright warm memories
of fire's dance

embers held
as long as they could
bright warm memories
of fire's dance

Who Am I

you ask my name
you ask who I am .
I look for an answer
an answer of truth.

I am one
who has no name
all the names
that ever existed
are mine.

I am one
who hides
in a cage of bone
uncontainable
unbounded vastness
is mine.

when you ask me
I stop
and think.

Mourning

Dead white ashes
warm black embers
mourning for the fire
that danced between us

let go

rotting branches
gangrenous limbs
some things must go
that one may live

Songs

Her songs are her own
she sings them in her joy
she spins them from
her soft raw being
silken threads
tapestries of words
they speak of
all that which
 moves and dances
 within her

Journey

warmed by longing
her frozen loneliness
melts and flows
she cuts her way
through  rocks
her silken softness
breaks the earth
in tumultous eagerness
she flows to him
he who waits for her
in his swirling vastness
in his unfathomable depths
in him she finds
the end to her
journey of pain

River And Ocean

they meet in silence
river and ocean
they find their joy
in quiet surges
deep murmurs
in the oneness of
their sweetness and salt
they need no words
to speak of their stories
their seeming separations
their apparent reunions
their never ending cycles
of constant love

Some Days

some days the sun shines brighter
some days the sky's more blue
some days prayers get answered
some days hope comes true !

some days my feet don't touch ground
some days I'm a bird in the sky
some days flowers bloom in my breath
some days we meet, you and I !

some days love walks in my wilderness
some days love weeps in my pain
some days love burns in my longing
some days love whispers my name

Freedom

Bottomless oceans
boundless skies
your flaunted freedom
mocks my eyes
eyes that see
yet do not see
thirst for a drop
of your mercy

The Flower

With fragrant spills
and colours bright
she wills him to her
her forgetful lover
her heart unable
any more to bear
the aching load
of her sweet nectar

Freedom

Open floodgates
broken locks
rushing waters
of freed spirit
wash clean
my trembling nakedness

Read

Find them if you will
read them if you can
in the fine print of my body
in the inkwells of my eyes
words which will never
find their way to my lips
letters I will never ever
write to you
